New PurE2 v. 6.5 to test - your feedback, please...

    Untoftunately not. Same problem with my Vu+ Ultimo 4K running vuultimo4k-PurE2-6.5-20200910. If you start YouTubeTV from na main menu, you get "Start YouTube TV" dialog window, but when you hit the green button to start the plugin, you only get black screen and after while it returns to main menu. I've tried to create YT API keys and updated /etc/enigma2/YouTube.key file, but it makes no difference. Problem still persists. I've tried another images (Black Hole and Open ATV) with YouTubeTV and it works fine there. Can you be of any help fixing this, please? If you need some more input from me, please let me know.

    I believe HBBTV is not working in VU+ receivers with Pure2, so is Youtube tv (not to be confused with youtube plugin ). The team has many times said that they don't own Vu+ , so the problem persist .I remember the first time I tried this image , it used to work flawlessly , but not anymore

    Yes, when you haven't the boxes to test and log - it's a problem.... And if you guys don't log and upload the logs here - don't expect a solution, you know...


    PurE2 is constantly pushing with ever newer libs of all sorts, SSL, GCC, FFmpeg and so on and when you have to change so much in order for the newer streaming standards to be upheld and properly supported - no wonder we have issues here and there... The normal and expected phenomenon, when you are living on the edge, as it were... ;)


    It is an enormous undertaking to change so many libs, some of which are big and complex, some of which we have to build and so on and on... Hence you have to re-flash from scratch every so often...


    This is just to let you know that these issues we have - with boxes we do not have - come with the upside of getting streaming plugins (FNC and others) which are then able to function under E2 and this is where our Team excels... ;)

    There is a newer 11641 which has some Nagra fix, but at the moment no time (it takes cca 2 hours to update all)"

    v. 6.5 will likely be be in a YARN (yet another reflash needed) mode for images dated after 27.9.2020.

    If you do have drama with playback, please disable (somewhat misleading) HW acceleration. Kodi works just fine on these boxes.


    v6.3 for these boxes probably does not need this adjustment.

    If there is a problem we need a log and relevant info to replicate the problem....


    But if you have a capable box - Kodi should work... If not, FNC plugins will work, so why that plugin?
