New PurE2 v. 6.5 to test - your feedback, please...

    New PurE2 v. 6.5 for Zgemma H9 Twin, fast test with Kodi 18.9:


    ExodusVPN, no special stuff needed (I normally use VPN but not in this test), just be a bit patient, it works;


    Amazon VOD, after I approved my account login from this device, plus Widevine update;


    BBC iPlayer > Live channels are OK without VPN;


    Democracy Now is OK;


    Films for action are OK;


    Live TV Serbia is OK;


    NASA - just black screen...


    National Geographic is fine;


    Netflix refuses to start....


    Space telescope keeps buffering....


    And so on.... must sleep a little....


    EDITED: no VPN for this test, I forgot to activate it....

    FNC plugins are OK....


    Playback pretty much OK (minus DVD files etc.)


    So, generally pretty darn good, Zgemma developers, new H9 Twin/Combo drivers seem good!

    Ah well, the process of continuation from a previous point (abandon watching a VOD and then retry later) is a bit tricky as it depends on the type of the stream, quality and drivers. If all the planets are aligned and there is a car passing by with broken headlight, all is destined to work ok :)

    First time that crash i playing a movie using XcPlucin (Lululla). So with same plugin i try to come back to the time of movie buy crash. So i try X-Steamity (Kiddac) going to same time of the movie also crash.....

    So i go to vod through lsit channel and play and with seekbar i try the same and no crash :-)

    If you work reboot the box

    Box stuck And refuses to do again

    after making the settings, updates, and installing the plugins and channels successfully

    It was tried more than once, and the version was installed again and the same problem

    Coders alerted.


    Please, put up the log, if you can FTP into the box...

    It seems to me that it was kinda implied (well, ok, mentioned) that images before 22.11 need a reflash. Really not meaning to be picky, but there is rather nice rs232 on amiko8900/amikoalien(2) :)

    I installed the new version 27/11/2020 New installation not upgrade

    using the plugin Nfr4X Multiboot of opennfr-5.3

    It was tried more than once, and the version was installed again and the same problem

    Uhh, that is bad and sad. Sorry, I think we'll have to dump sh4 support as it takes too much time to do special fixes for the old compiler and kernel :(

    It makes no sense to have unhappy users with non functional image. On the other side, it would be nice to have another confirmation that new sh4 images do not work in flash.
    There seem to be few hundred to a more than a thousand sh4 pure2 users and your report for the glitch is the single one, and perhaps the deciding to stop our nostaligia fight :)
