Just installaded oscam on an ubuntu machine. All works fine when I start up oscam but after a while the phoenix reader disconnects and reconnects to a different Usb port, ex from ttyUSB0 to ttyUSB1.
The reader is AD Tekniks USB Phoenix/smartmouse.
The linux pc:s I have tryed it on is an Asus EEE box 1007 and an Aspire one D255E laptop, on both of those the problem occurs.
On my Desktop it ran flawless for days on a cygwin oscam installation.
I am thinking its a power issue, maybe a usb hub with external power will fix my problem.
Any other ideas?

Try this
[h=1]Tutorial : Lock cardreader to specific usb port[/h]Thanks for input but I have already tried it. The rules only apply when you reboot oscam or the computer, wont work if the reader change port while oscam is running.
The problem for me is that the reader all of a sudden is changing port while oscam is running.

Did you solve it Lacki? I have the same problem and I just wonder if there was a solution to the problem?
