VU+ reboots while switching to another tuner !!!

    I have vu+solo2, whenever I tune to another channel from Tuner A to Tuner B) the box reboots right after i select channel any channel. Same thing happens when switching Tuner A to tuner B.

    & there's no crash log, or green screen error.


    also when i open my HDD the box reboots



    Any idea why is it happening ?

    about HDD issue I've it figured it out one thing that if I change settings in 'hard disk setup' to HDD standby after: "no standby", it'll keep my HDD on forever but this isn't any solution. : /

    sounds like power fail for me...

    i think that the original is 3 or 3.5A ...(so if the one that you replaced it is less... maybe it is not enough)


    also, the hard disk (and motors general) ask for more power the time they starting...

    There's something else I'd like to share

    My Vu+2 is currently connected to 20-22 ku & c_band satellites, i am using both tuners.


    Do you think there might be wiring issue? Or diseqc issue? I replaced my diseqc switches but still it's the same. :unhappy:

    no, i do not think something in diseqc ... you said about problem, when switching tuners, and not satellite in the same tuner (diseq change...)

    also if there was a faulty lnb, it should always reboot...

    they both work fine separately. Problem occurs while switching them.

    if it is not by power supply, i am afraid that it is something in motherboard...


    off course, another easy solution is just to reflash a fresh image (in any case that something is going wrong in software)...

    the reflash doesn't work. I've tried different images.


    Do you think a cline or mgcamd line can cause such issues ?
