No CA found on DM800SE

    Hi All,


    I made mistake to put not suitable image on my DM800 SE so getting error "NO CA found". I try to search a solution on google but it seems that all solutions require RS232 cable. I don't have that and in case to have it, I don't know where to connect it on DM800 SE. For your information, I have micro usb on DM800 near Esata port. I heard that it is possible to replace RS232 cable by micro usb - usb using this micro usb port. I already have Dreamup 1.3.3, NCF SIM2 v2.5, Filezilla client, And I'm using windows 8.1.

    yes, this mini usb port, is the serial port for this receiver. you can flash through serial, a correct one image for your receiver, and recover it.


    also,there was a recovery tool by yassinov, which had the bootloader for most dmm models (original and clone).

    Finally, I found solution.


    Before using Dream up. I had to install CP210 Windows drivers first. Now it is ok. My next problem is the image I put provide same problem. Always no CA found. I am sure it is DM800 SE clone but I don't know it is Sim 2.1 or Sim 2.01. How to check the right Sim xxx?

    Best tool to use is Japhar Flasher, this is a patched Dreamup.


    Connect both Micro USB and ethernet cable fill out the ip ranges. and select the USB cable port.


    Power off the SE then click connect in japhar flasher then power on the SE.


    It should then connect and allow you to flash an image.

    Finally, I found solution.

    SIM 2.01 or 2.10 is same Clone Image

    No It means you have a clone with a sim in it that can take original images.


    OpenPLI no longer support dreamboxes. Well it seems they do the DM8000


    The openpli images you see are manufactured by the sim groups for respective clone sims.


    Use the OpenATV image

    wait. I don't find openpli 7.2 compatible for DM800 A8P. I can get only openp

    Told you above mate Openpli dont support the 800se anymore different sim team release their version of Openpli 7.2 for their sim versions. Use OpenATV if you want a good upto date image for the A8P sim
