hi for some reason 0n astra 4.8e i cannot do a scan of any kind why is that,sat is aligned ok as other sat can be scanned plus i can watch tv but i cannot do a fresh scaN ?
astra 4.8e/ses nothing to scan problem?

yes its ku band,when i try to scan it straight away comes with "nothing to scan " message !
other sats i scanned where ok,im on motorised sat by-the way

Yes but your current scanned channels on 4,8e ku band do work if i understand your first posrt correct??
Have you checket the satfiner plugin to see if you have a signal?

save your channel list
and use vhannibal for 2nd opinion
as i think your satellites.xml is corrupt

If your satellite.xml is corruped then here is mine
upload with ftp to folder /etc/tuxbox then restart Enigma2 (GUI)
You might have to re configure you tuners when changing satellite.xml if yours is very old

Thank you seems to have fixed that error with your satellites.xml.my old .xml was corrupted

It depends where one is, as well... That satellite has a greatly reduced footprint, if I am not seriously mistaken...
Not many TPs can be seen by smaller dishes... Mainly Ukrainian TPs are strong enough...
