  • Hello @ibbnog...after doing another recent upgrade a further image update had been widely reported as causing problems for other users so I decided to use a recovery emmc image for a clean flash then image version 6.3 followed by image version 6.5 from 23/03/21...I haven't done any further upgrades as everything is running smoothly at the moment...@jenseneverest has stated he hasn't done an upgrade since I believe ?. last year...regards

it doesnt seem to resolve my h7c, it hasnt booted once since i bought it and i tried any method of flashing but still goes on BOOT indefinitely

Ibbnog have you tried to put image files with Filezilla to var/volatile/tmp and flash from that folder?? Since i dont have the receiver close to me anymore i need to know where you stack in order to help you. Thks

  • As i said I dont have this box anymore. I suppose you know how to FTP the files to var/volatile/tmp folder. I just copy from another site some info of a similar box.

    Menu...setup...software management... flash online/local

    select local

    select devices

    select internal flash

select tmp (or where ever you put it

    green button to flash.

  • bruh...i dont have acces to any menus..

Sorry Ibbnog . I thought your box was working and u need to flash a new image. Now i figured that your box is bricked and not boots at all. In this case i don't think i can help you.

    too late i returned it

Honestly i think that was for the best.

Buying from the forum sponsor is also a good idea for when these things go wrong

  • Well after wasting a lot of time and utilizing lot of efforts. You need to download 6.0 image and flash it with that image. After installing 6.0 you may upgrade online.

Thank you for this solution! I was going crazy because, after the flashing of OpenPli 8.3, I was unable to return to one of the others images I had on my multiboot. I tried all of my usb memory stick (that I used positvely a lot of times before), but I obtained just a lot of fails.

So I found your post and I tried and all is ok now, my H7S is back to his prevous state now.
