Try, and let us know, probably yes if it's the "main image", then other images added.

You can on you PC unpack the gz, and repack with xz.

There is few tools to do it. Will see if I can find a way but you can try anyway.

Its not DMM file organization, it naturally gives warning, that are of no interest.

Image works and will boot no problem after installing, its an open image so differently organised than a DMM format.

Still working on all this, as it's in Beta phase, right now working on implementing properly the Audio on DVB using the amlogic chipset.
