Can I setup a box (Zgemma H2S) just to act as a DVB-S2 server for linux (MythTV)? Instead of getting a PCIe DVB-S2 card?

Basically the title. I want to setup a small HTPC on MythTV. I also have an old Zgemma H2S here, and was wondering if I could somehow set it up to just act as a DVB-S2 server, and then use it on the HTPC just the same as if I had a PCIe card?

if you can setup minisatip (Sat>IP) on the STB, then these channels can be added to MythTV. The backend will ofcourse run on the HTPC.

Ahh thanks dvbuserhere, that's exactly the type of thing I was looking for.

Do you have any experience with it? Are there any significant downsides, and is the software stable?
