Recording Factory Block

Important information about recordings

The Dreambox Two UHD have a factory block preventing you from Recording.

This is how you remove this block. Its locked to prevent users from recoding to the flashmemory if no external recording device is mounted or setup proper for recordings.

But for some users the lock is not removed even if you mounted an external HDD, do the proper settings for recodings.

DO NOT REMOVE THE BLOCK IF YOU HAVE NO EXTERNAL RECORDING DEVICE MOUNTED AS HDD

systemctl stop enigma2 
sed -i 's/config.misc.recording_allowed=false/config.misc.recording_allowed=true/g' /etc/enigma2/settings
systemctl start enigma2

No need to copy

This is done with telnet.

Open telnet connection to your box and run commands as above.
