    I even downloaded a patch from some forum, but I was not sure if it was safe.

    Apply the patch as explained in that precedent post/forum, it will work on your original box, and then just do an online update and your box will get updated up to the last version of the 26 December 2020.

    I've done everything yet. Patch from old Image matches perfectly.

    Update is successful, but there is a problem with the plugin E2iplayer, it requires PyCurl , how to solve it in a right way?

    I'm from Russia and I have very bad English.

  • You would need to install it from the feeds, so you need first to load the packages


    opkg update


    then you will need to find the name of the package, with the command below,


    opkg list | grep pycurl


    and then install it with


    opkg install + name of the ipk

    (should be : "opkg install python-pycurl")
