I may be misunderstanding but why would you need M3U8 files ?

Since we can watch webcams directly in bouquets and zap on it like any TV channel and even merge satellite, terrestrial, IPTV or webcams in the same bouquet, we dont need Webcamviewer or Worldcam plugins anymore.

What we need is a good up-to-date userbouquet.xxx.tv file to upload in etc/enigma2 folder (with filezilla, winscp, ...).

As a start, here is mine !

All cameras were showing in the last 2 weeks, but some has vanished since. Others are hard to reach, probably overloaded (i.e. NewYork 5th avenue) or momentarily closed.

I deleted a few russian webcams as I was bored to see every street in Sochi (more than 200), Petrozavodsk, Orsk, Tcherepovets ...

They are sorted by country (international code DE, GB, FR, HR for Croatia, ...) and, if possible, named in original language (russian characters too).

OK, let's go further ...

You know that M3u an M3u8 (same files but encrypted in UTF-8) are text files with some informations (album, artist, location, whatever) and a link to the real media file.

So, this M3u file :

is a link to a .mjpg stream with the description "FI - Torikatu". As it leads to a mjpg, it does not show in Enigma2 bouquets but work fine in VLC.

is a channel that leads to a MP4 stream with the description "AT - Graz". As it is a MP4, it works fine in Enigma2 and show up as long as the webcam is on and doesn't need a password or rejects some IP's on geolocation.

If you want to build a M3u8 file with it, it would be :

Note :

- "https%3a" is "https:" coded in UTF-8 ;
