I have new Octagon SF8008 receiving 101w and was wondering if I can transfer my PV keys from old box to the SF8008. I installed oscam on the SF8008 and transferred the key file to etc/tuxbox/config/oscam. Is another location where it should go. It works fine in old box but not in SF8008.
I normally work with Linux Mint, so I am somewhat familiar with Linux file structure but new to setting up oscam. The old box just needed to import key file and that was it.

1. are you using the same image in both receivers?
2. to decrypt channels, you need oscam-emu and not just oscam
3. also , even it isn't standard, the directory could be etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-emu
4.the "API for extended CWs" need to be set to "1 -O.E 2.2"
5. an oscam log (which shows when it starts and what it shows in the channel ) could help
Thanks for the reply. I re-installed OpenATV 6.4 and installed softcam-feed-universal by SSH:
wget -O - -q http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed | bash && opkg update && opkg install enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-stable.
Channels still not coming in. Any suggestions?

oscam-stable isn't oscam emu, so it can't accept softcam.key file and decrypt channels.
install an oscam-emu, and than transfer the softcam.key file (or you can copy/paste it through oscam-emu webif in files/other files/softcam.key)
oscam-emu installed, channels still not opening. I'm using a softcam from kargo, with added keys from old GTMedia box.

It looks like it is working, but still no channel coming up.
I loaded OpenEight instead of OpenATV 6.4 and now tp 3980 is working. :smiling:
