Newbie to basic EPG

I have a Zgmemma H7 twin sat+1 terr tuners (in UK) running latest OpenVix and have internal 1Gb HDD.

I really like the box but am having no success with the EPG.

It does not show immediately on waking, often does not show Channel 4HD and is far from complete with 7-days.
I just want basic FreeSat-type EPG - 7-day listing for all free UK TV stations + Channel4 in HD and also terrestrial channels.

These are my settings, I wonder if anyone can figure out what I am doing wrong.

Plugins:

I only have EPG Importer is present

When I FTP into the box, in media/hdd there is a file epg.dat of size 335K with time-stamp of when I switched box on this morning (09:21)

Also a sub-folder radiotimes which includes the following files:

otv_skyuk_28.2.sources.xml of size 1K with time-stamp of 07:10

skyuk_28.2.channels.xml of size 88K with time-stamp of 07:10

skyuk_28.2.log of size 21K with time-stamp of 07:22

skyuk_28.2.xml of size 3,400K with time-stamp of 07:22

Remove the epg.dat files from the hdd.

In epg importer configuration menu > go to sources/blue button > Rytec UK Sat/Virgin XMLTV - enable what you need from here and save > import current source/manual download the epg/yellow button.
