Any idea what the flashing green icon signifies in the two pics, the icon is to the left of the REC icon.

It means a software update is available; green flashing icon=stable update, red flashing light=unstable update available.

sorry i did not get to this earlier but yes your correct, Its the update icon telling you there are software updates for your image.
Blue button> ViX> software update.
Green for stable updates.
red for unstable updates ( if you have the option to use unstable updates enabled which is off by default ). -

It's been moved to the second infobar mate click ok when the first infobar is open. it has been moved as to be frank there was way too much info in the first infobar than was needed. and no there is no way to pull it back to the first infobar sorry.

Blue button> ViX> software update.
This option to update now seems to have disappeared.
There is Menu > Setup > System >Online Update but this seems to ask only if you wish to update via online method.Any ideas guys? Flashing green light is doing my nut in :)
