I have a VU+ Solo2 (purchased in 2014) and replaced a defective Technomate TM-2600 with the same in 2019. The positioner is set up on tuner A and I have an issue in that it does not move the dish to the satellite for the selected channel. If I move the positioner using satfinder I can receive the channels on the previously selected satellite. I did a software reset and entered the location parameters again to no avail. Any suggestions on how to remedy this please?

Instead of using USALS, use Stored position.
Use Satfinder to move the dish to a satellite and give each its own individual stored position.
In Tuner Configuration change these settings:
Configuration mode - advanced
Satellite - choose the satellite you want to store
DiSEqC mode - 1.2
Use USALS for this sat - no
Stored position - give each sat its own number
All other settings should be left as default.
