Foreca Weather addon is an XBMC weather plugin for getting weather information from foreca.com.
Before installation, you need to additionally install the tlslite-ng library (file script.module.tlslite-ng-0.7.5.zip in the attachment). This library is required to implement the TLS 1.2 security protocol.
Also, if you want to see an extended weather forecast (current, daily and hourly), you need to replace the original weather skin file with a modified one (only for the Confluence skin). The original file is located in the file system of the receiver along the path /usr/share/xbmc/addons/skin.confluence/720p/MyWeather.xml . If you connect to the receiver via the network (smb protocol), then the path will be like this:\\IP_STB\system\usr\share\xbmc\addons\skin.confluence\720p\MyWeather.xml
We replace the above file with the one in the attachment (MyWeather.xml).
Next, as usual, install the addonf. ( weather.foreca-1.0.1.zip)
Configuring XBMC.
XBMC Main Menu - System – Settings
Select "Weather" and then go to the item "Service for Weather information" and press OK on the remote control. In the window that opens, select the newly installed Foreca Weather addon and confirm the selection.
After that, you can go to the "Settings" item and perform the initial settings of the add-on - at least you need to specify the location to get the forecast.
After that, we return to the previous menu and select the "Appearance" item
We select the first item "Skin" and on the right side of the screen select the item "Settings".
Further in the menu - "Home window" and on the right side enable the item "Show weather info".
XBMC setup is complete. We return to the main menu, in which the "Weather" item should appear, and in the upper left corner of the screen (for the Confluence skin) - the weather icon and the name of the settlement.
View the weather forecast.

If everything is done correctly, then you can see the forecast by day (for 10 days):
The forecast update interval is 1 hour.
You can also switch to an hourly forecast. To do this, call the context menu View settings (the "Left" button on the remote control)
and select the "Hourly forecast" item and confirm the selection by pressing OK on the remote control.
In this menu, you can also switch to the forecast for another settlement - "Location", as well as configure the weather plug-in by selecting the "Settings" item.
Addon settings are divided into several categories:
Location - you can set from 1 to 5 settlements
Units of Measure — select the units for displaying weather events.
Weather visualization — select sets of icons to display weather events.
Other - setting the interval for displaying the hourly forecast, from 1 to 12 hours (by default - 3)
