What are you trying to load https into.

Most iptv software use twisted.downloadpage module to download all the iptv api content.
This doesn't work for https lines
So hacks have to be written in to make it work
You haven't said what plugin you are trying to use. But my plugin plays SSL https lines

v3.00 is the latest but a few dreamboxes and images like vti and blackhole we got a few issues with at the moment

so you are trying to download a script. Helps if you give the full info of your problem from the off buddy.
Most older boxes come with a basic version of wget
you just need to update your wget package. Which will then download the full version and allow https
telnet/putty into your box.
opkg install wget
or probably this being a dreambox
apt-get -y install wget
