Flashing Ubuntu Server to DVB 800 HD PVR

    I wanted to know if it would be possible to flash Ubuntu server to a dream-box so that I can use it for hosting etc... No more TV or anything like that. Just ssh access to the machine is enough.

    Short answer is no and why do you want to install ubuntu when all DreamOS images already have ssh access?

    If you not going to use it for TV then turn of the tuners, Install plugin startup to standby and it will sitt idle as a filesharing server if this is the function you are looking for
