advice please

    hi guys sorry if i there is info already on the forum but could not find it i think my xml file is out of date as cant seem to pick up thor and some other channels on different sats
    question is if i update my xml file do i have to do a full set up of dreambox 500s again and a rescan of all existing sats thanks
