I have had this receiver for two days and I am satisfied
but I have a question
Is it normal to save the settings from the previous image after changing the image
my channel list is saved, my skin settings are saved
I have a dm800hd and there after changing the image it loads without any settings from the previous images
if not normal how to fix it
It's not recommended to use the save & restore option in the Flash Tool (Web interface)
It's better to restore your settings after you made a clean flash and setup.
Then you can restore you channel list and skin settings.
The problem is that I install a new image, but the settings from the old image remain the same.
I want to install a new image but keep it clean
Then you have not uncheck the 2 boxes in your FlashTool
Uncheck Backup settings and restore before you press the Go button to flash your Dreambox :)
Also if the Setup Wizard find your old settings just answer no and continue then you will have a fresh new installation from scratch
