Hello!
I have installed this plugin in Dreambox Two, but "no EPG sources found" "nothing to do". How to correct this error?

How to correct this error?
It's not an error in any way... It's not knowing how to use it.... Just press the blue button on the remote....

Maybe ..... but if you look at the plugin log, you will see that you do not have the python-lzma or python-backports-lzma module installed ... look at your image feed for what is available and install .... it is very strange that this module is not preinstalled in the image you use....It is necessary for unpacking xz archives

After the installation of python-lzma and python-backports-lzma module I get this error: twisted.python.failure
-
-
You should fix your deb script and add modules needed as depndencies
For DreamOS it's python-backports-lzma then this issue would not happen :)
What?! It´s chinese for me.

My post was not for you. It was for the author. It's a standard that you allways add the dependency into the install script (control) file of any install packages. To avoid missing modules for the users :)

I get this error: twisted.python.failure
What Is a 403 Forbidden Error (and How Can I Fix It)?A 403 Forbidden Error occurs when a web server forbids you from accessing the page you’re trying to open in your browser. Most of the time, there’s not much…www.howtogeek.comCodeDorik@MacBookPro-4 ~ % curl -I "http://rytecepg.wanwizard.eu/rytec.channels.xml.xz" HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden Date: Sun, 06 Feb 2022 06:59:45 GMT Server: Apache Content-Type: text/html Content-Length: 153
What is the error of the plugin if the called resource does not exist? Here is the plugin in the log about this and informs you.
p.s.
python-lzma and python-backports-lzma
It was enough to install ONE OF them. I wrote about "or"

I know about it. But here the situation is slightly different. The plugin works on Python2 and Python3 on any existing image of any platform. Therefore, if I add dependencies as you suggest, I will need to make separate ipk for different versions of Python. In the case of deb (there are no Python3 images on DM), this can be done. But to date, I have not seen images without pre-installed lzma ... It is possible to analyze the presence of lzma module in the used image in the plugin code itself and install it via subprocess. In this case, I can write out any logic for Python2/Python3/DreamOS etc.
In fact, out of more than 100 downloads on various forums, this was the first time a user reported an error about the absence of the lzma module.
-
This is the problem all developers have when they try and cover as many images and OS as possible. And as Info the python-backports-lzma module is not installed by default in the base image of DreamOS.
There is other ways of solving the dependency issues if you look into plugins like XC, Xstreamity and Jedi. They are multi python and multi OS
Most DreamOS users who install EPG Import do this after they have installed one of the above named plugins, Therefor they already have the module you need for your EPG Import mod. So 100 downloads without issues maybe is true, But also a bit of luck :)
Else keep up the good work.

I have installed the original epgimport and everything works fine.
Then I have uninstalled it and installed pepsik mod - it keeps give the "twisted.python.failure".
Best regards

I wrote earlier that this is a problem if you use the "ideology" of control scripts ... But this can be easily solved from the plugin code. I will add this in the next release. There's nothing complicated about it
