Basic knowledge in the field of http requests is not a support topic in this forum thread ..... Moreover, who's stopping you from slipping the sources configuration files from the "other" version? Who is stopping you from excluding the "dead" link from the sources configuration files in the mod? What does the original plugin or mod have to do with the fact that some resources may not be available? You wrote that you know how to use the plugin or it seems to me?

Simple analogy... Take the given link you have from sources.xml (http://rytecepg.wanwizard.eu/rytec.channels.xml.xz) and try to open it in a normal browser like Chrome... Opens? Not? Following your logic, Chrome is to blame ... Will you write to google technical support?

I have not changed the sources of any plugin - just installed and tested. I am not blaming anything/anyone, just trying to give feedback. I know how to use the plugin, as you can see from the pictures. I am not a programmer, just an user.

I am done with this.

To be clear: I have not changed any files sources inside "/etc/epgimport/ folder". Just installed and used just as they were.

EDIT1: It seems to concern lzma:

opkg list-installed | grep -i lzma

liblzma5 - 5.2.5-r0

EDIT2: opkg install python3-backports-lzma

It's the version I installed and force-reinstall, but still the same problem

opkg list-installed | grep -i lzma

liblzma5 - 5.2.5-r0

python3-backports-lzma - 0.0.14-r0

Tried opkg install --force-reinstall --force-depends xz

redownload, reinstall ... In the version that I posted there is no mixing of spaces and tabs, which is not allowed in Python3 or just replace the file from the attachment in the already installed version

Keep calm please.. reinstall done, nothing new, same error. Why doesn't this package check dependencies before installation?

What does the error in your screenshot have to do with checking dependencies? Why did you decide that something is not checked?

p.s. OpenATV 7.0 ... What can I do to get an error like yours?

Where is the start log of your system where you can see the error?

With the EPGConfig.py in #115 post, the plugin is running! But thy py is not the samz as the one in post #111.

Ok I understood why last time I tested the plugin, everything was blank. You have to definitively delete the italian sources.xml, It contains links to outdated channels.xml.

See official Openpli forum if you want the confirmation about this full of errors file.

sources.xml is a user concern. I took the latest available rytec from github. But besides rytec - there are others ... And checking whether everything is "alive" is stupid. There is a log for this. Where you can see that this or that source does not work. If the source is not working, it is skipped and the next one is taken ...

Who needs xmltv sources of Italian channels in Bulgaria or Romania? Or why source Belgian xmltv need in Italy? Or, for example, why do you need xmltv sources from Slavic countries in France? The purpose of the plugin is to work with any xmltv sources that will be added by the user. If some links from "preinstalled" sources do not work or are outdated, then what does the plugin code have to do with it?

For italian souces xml (not the rytec one), the sources works but it contain errors in the channels files, for a lot of french channels. I don't know where did you find this file, but it has to be simply deleted...

Enigma DTT+SAT Italia were provided to me by a user of this forum - @hispanico957 ... If you have 100% verified and working XMLTV sources for this plugin - I will add or replace the existing ones without any problems
