This is the README of the gutemine3 Feed Plugin.

For installing the gutemine3 Feed on your one/two/seven enter the below
3 lines of commands in telnet or ssh on your Dreambox:

Be aware that the gutemine3 Feed is now GHOST RIDER protected.

Alan Turing is gutemine's next generation Multibooting Plugin 
ONLY for the Dreambox one/two/seven. It is nicknamed AT or @

@@@ How do I install it?
It is installed via and dependant from the gutemine 3 Feed Plugin 
which is currently ONLY available as BETA.

@@@ Which devices does it support?
It supports SD Cards and USB devices with a size of up to 128GB. 
Minimal recommended size is 16GB to allow at least a reasonable 
number of images or a Debian installation.

@@@ Why are bigger devices or Harddisk NOT supported?
@ is repartitioning and formating the device it uses for booting 
images, hence this size limit is there tp prevent formatting 
your harddisk with all your recordings.
It would also have severe performance impacts if you boot from 
a device where you would have continuous syncrhonous 
writing IO = PVR recording.

@@@ Why are the old Dreamboxes NOT supported?
Since end of the year 2021 gutemine supports ONLY recent 
Dreamboxes - eg. one/two/seven with DreamOS Images.
Only these support the latest Development OE, will 
support Python3 and have sufficient CPU power to 
support the @ Plugin.

@@@ How do I specify which device is used by the @ Plugin 
to place my unpacked Images ?
You don't need to specify which device to use, it has not even 
to be present during @ Plugin installation, but as soon as you 
will use the @ Plugin to create a new image 
(Restore, Copy from Flash, etc.) the @ Plugin will pick the 
first device which is within the 128 GB Size limit and is NOT 
labeled dreambox-storage (Harddisk, or Harddisk replacement).

@@@ Why does the @ Plugin NOT work together with 
my XYZ Panel or Feed ?
Due to the misuse and unauthorized distribution and patching 
of some of gutemine's Plugins, the Alan Turing Plugin is
now protected by the Ghost Rider, who removes and blocks
such Panel and Feeds.
This is also the reason why the gutemine3 Feed and 
dBackup3 Plugin is NOT modifiable, despite the
Python sources being shipped and included in 
the installation kit. 

@@@ Can I put also other things on the devices used 
by the @ Plugin?
The @ Plugin stores the Images either in directories directly 
in the device root or in extra partitions on the @ Device.
Therefore the @ Plugin supports to have only your backuped 
and compressed images and settings backups in the backup 
directory and png and svg Files in the picon directory 
of the device it uses for storing its images and backups. 
ALL other files and directories except Images are NOT 
supported and will be deleted on the @ devices.

@@@ What is this Harddisk setting in the @ Plugin about ?
If you have a harddisk or harddisk replacement mounted at 
your one/two/seven which was mounted via standard DreamOS 
Storage manager it will be labeled dreambox-storage. 
If you enable this setting within @ Plugins every new 
image you create on the @ device will get automatically 
added with the mounting if this device to the fstab File. 
This means all your movies will be instantly available 
and you could also restore settings which you stored on 
this device via Standard Softwaremanager.

@@@ What is this Password Reset setting in the @ Plugin about ?
If you enable this setting, the root password will be 
removed on any new image which you create with the 
@ Plugin (including Debian Images). 
This is identical to what you can do via Standard 
DreamOS Setting -> System -> Password -> Remove Password.
Keep in mind that this functionality is ONLY to simplify 
the first logon to the new @ Image. You should then change 
it immediately to a SECURE Password, OR you will face a 
severe security thread by allowing root access to your 
Dreambox without ANY password protection!

@@@ What is the "Backups" screen on yellow good for?
In the Backups screen you get the tar.gz and tar.xz backups 
listed from /media/hdd/backup, /data/backup and AFTER the @
device was established and is listed on the Info screen in
the @ Plugin also /media/at/backup.
When the image you want to act on is selected use the 
right/left cursor to select the action you want to apply 
to this image (Restore, Rename, Remove,...) 
and when you press OK or Yellow this action will be 
executed. For longer running actions like Restoring 
such a (backup) image to the @ Plugin device you will 
get progress indication via the @ Plugin progress bar.

@@@ What is the "Images" screen on green good for?
In the Images screen you see the images which were 
put onto the @ Plugin device (and the Flash image 
off course)
When the image you want to act on is selected use 
the right/left cursor to select the action you want to 
apply to this image (Select for booting, Backup, Rename, 
Remove,...) and when you press OK or Green this action 
will be executed. For longer running actions like Backup 
of an image you will get progress indication via the 
@ Plugin progress bar.

@@@ What is the "Configuration" screen on blue good for?
This screen gives you the possibility to change the 
configuration settings that the @ Plugin offers. 
It also allows some basic actions like saving the image's 
current enigma2 settings to the @ Plugin device and 
restore it from there, which might be helpfull to transfer 
settings within Images. On pressing blue again in the 
settings screen of the @ Plugin device it offers
the possibility to see the look of the bootmanager 
screen if you change the background or the font, 
but this can be also changed via settings directly.
Changed Settings will only get saved if you leave 
the Configuration Screen with Green or Yellow, 
because Red is Exit of the @ Plugin without save.

@@@ Why does the backupname always contain the boxtype, 
eg. dreamone/dreamtwo/dreamseven, even when I remove it?
This is AUTOMATICALLY added, and the protection to prevent 
flashing/booting wrong images which are NOT made for a box and 
could cause damage of your Dreambox. This functionality will 
be modified when Dream Property will introduce the universal 
images - which will then be flashable/bootable on ALL the OE2.6 
Dreamboxes. This behaviour is also the same as in dBackup3. 
If extracting an image with the @ Plugin, the boxtype is 
automatically removed during extraction for the imagename. 
Therefore it is NOT possible to disable this protection and if 
you use fake/wrong boxnames in your imagenames then face
the potential consequences.

@@@ Why can't I rename the backup image to whatever I want?
See answer to previous question, this is to protect you box from 
flashing/booting wrong images. If you want to rename an image 
to get afterwards the same name and Imagename in the imageselection 
this is the WRONG approach. Imagenames are fully editable when 
choosing Restore of an image in both the Plugin and the 
webinterface and Image names not following the naming convention 
will simply NOT be shown in the Imagelist.

@@@ What is this date and time setting about?
If enabled this will AUTOMATICALLY add the current date and/or 
time to the imagename, hence it is wrong to type these yourself 
in the imagename, unless you want it twice. 
If you do NOT want this behavior simply disable these settings.

@@@ Why is the prefix that I have setup ignored on Merlin 
and Newnigma2 Images?
Because on these images the creator is picked from /etc/image-version 
file, In standard DreamOS Images they contain no creator.

@@@ Is the date/time if enabled and boxtype deducted from the maximal 
Image name length specified in the configuration on blue ?
Yes

@@@ What is this partitioning setting about ?
At the moment simply don't use it it until this will be requested for 
testing in the @ Plugin Beta Test Thread in the Support forum.
This setting allows to have an @ device with Partitions which 
contain the images instead of Image directories on the @ device. 
At the moment neither extract nor booting such image Partitions 
are supported. This functionality is under development and 
is planned to be fully functional available in Version 0.3 of 
the @ Plugin at a later stage.

@@@ Why is the backup in the @ Plugin so slow?
Probably because you simply didn't install the optional 
pigz, xz and tar binaries from the Setup
Screen on Blue. Then your backup runs on a single CPU 
with the busybox binaries. Only when these binaries are installed
full parallelization will be done and the full performance of the
Dreambox one/two/seven is used. This is the same behaviour as
for dBackup3 Plugin.

@@@ What is this Ghost Rider protection?
As a starting point I recommend watching the 2007 movie with Nicolas Cage
starring as the Ghost Rider, or have a read of the original 
Marvel Comic books series. Then be gutemine's guest and as long as 
you are NOT a Blackheart you have nothing to fear and the Ghost Rider
will not come after you.
