Octagon 8008 where are the 8 slots.....?????

    Hello everyone, I have an Octagon sf8008 and at the start, when I received it, I had the possibility of flashing on 8 slots, I installed another image in recovery at the start and now, I have put any image, I only have 4 flash slots left.....thank you if you know the solution....

    But of course not, we can clearly see in the Boot file with Dcc the first 6 slots... "STARTUP_1 to STARTUP_6, but they no longer appear in the choice of device, well I'll manage on my own, as usual....

    when sf8008 arrived, the multiboot option was only for sd card.


    later this changed, and the multiboot works in receivers flash , but only 4 partitions or you could extend this +2 slots in sd card.


    as i know images before and after this change , could not be together, because of different bootloader and multiboot option.


    so you have to re-partition your sd card from bootloader (recovery menu), and than re-install images which using the new bootloader.


    (and there is the madhouse multiboot,which offers more slots...)

    However, when I received my Octagon 8008; I saw that there were 6 installation slots, now that I put other test images in recovery, I don't have them anymore, I only have 4 installation slots, finished the 6 ......and what do we do with the remaining space, I still have almost 4GB ???????

    What is the multiboot madhouse ????Thank you...

    As already explained, the STB ships with an old bootloader that had 6 slots.

    Octagon updated things and now there is 4 once flashed with newer images.

    i have no idea why anyone would need more than 4 anyways TBH, after all you can only use one at a time.

    Hi everyone, I tested madhouse on TF card and usb key, everything goes well during the installation, new images installed without problem, but none start, the device remains on boot ......

    I have to remove the key for it to start again and start all over again....
