what can we do with the oscam-emu-patch-27-03-2022, can you please explain it to us a bit, thanks?
-
I see a lot of EMU's inside the file, The big question is do they work.. and for all images or what ..more info is needed before testing.. Dont want to Brick my Receiver...
-
The patch is not for receivers but for Oscam
Don't break any of your receivers

What is different to the normal patch ?

I still don't understand why oscam-emu-patch-27-03-2022 is supposed to be good??
-
is probably meant for developers on the pc version, that we might see a update for compiler later on for other devices but to me it least EMU is still been work on improving its emulation not just one encryption we are use to for past many years...but all encryption format are coming forward next

i can compile it, the question is what has changed ?
-
probably BISS2-CA stuff that only for testing purpose i think...i see mostly deal with the algorithm code for that...hopefully i see more on PC side work again ...this is how all started before it happen of its discovery with PVU

just as i said, on other forums like sat-universe from this link mention something what patch does https://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=319373 it open channels that use BISS2...only difference is , someone need know the provider authorization key for the ecm keys to pull this off and work as intended, thats what lead to what change from month ago

Biss2 keys are still a long long way off, even if oscam emu in theory can decode it, you still require the RSA from the official STB's and the shared CW for the event (and a brute force of the CW would take current PC's years)

yeah in current form, all they did add ffdecsa support and i look it up what it is, its huge improvement in decoding software that is 800% faster than orginal decoding that takes 40% more cpu energy than ffdescsa is only less than that of 5% sometimes 1%-2% usage due x86 processors have SSE2...i bet this would help the pc developers a lot to unluck many encryption code by what you said with others like PVu+ that been troublsome for years til now.
hopefully we all are not that abandon on those tech with PC users that someday it will compile onto other devices soon when software side on those catch up and ARM tech mature enough for receivers ...hence its why we gonna need beefier ARM machines to do this later on...like 8 core
