Multi Poster Full HD Skin (including enhanced PosterX renderer)

Simple skin based on enhanced PosterX renderer (python 2 or 3 - tested with openATV, openPli, pure2, egami, ...)

Poster download in "/media/hdd/poster" or "media/usb/poster"

Poster download is active when a channel is selected.

Automatic poster download is set by default every 2 hours for favourites bouquet with 32 items

autobouquet_file = '/etc/enigma2/userbouquet.favourites.tv'

autobouquet_count = 32

Automatic clean up of poster downloaded when older than 3 days

Edit /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Renderer/PosterX.py file to change poster download parameters if needed

- I had previously asked the developer digiteng to unify the name of the poster with Poster X to match the same name as the extra event posters..

Can you help with that

- I have interests in posters of content in Arabic, which is not currently available through the renderer....

Mostly, the poster is downloaded incorrectly on Arabic channels.

- Is it possible to add Render codes to fetch from special sites ... a box that is filled in with the experience of the user if he is familiar

In this case, for example, search on (https://elcinema.com) for Arabic content

- Some words corresponding to the description of the event to search in Arabic

Several fixes for the GUI

Enhancement of posters search engine which is a bit slower than previous version but more accurate

Rename PosterX to PosterXB in order to avoid conflicts with other skins using the original PosterX

Note that poster search is automatically running for the selected channel (no need for other specific or complex mechanism).

There is also an automatic posters searching thread (and clean-up) which is running in background every 2 hours (you change this setting in file 'PosterXB.py' or even activate the log 'self.logdbg = True' in class 'PosterAutoDB' - note that there is no searching progress information, except log)

PS : Skin with dedicated PosterX has been mainly refined for French channels but also work for other countries, especially for movies. Refinement for other contries will be investigated later if time permits. Thanks for your help, ideas and feedbacks.

It seems that you don't have the necessary the two python packages "requests" & "image or imaging".

Install them and try again. If it still does not work you can try this script to fix it : checkMultiPosterFHD.sh

PS : I did not put dependencies in the package because of conflicts between python 2 & 3 (the two necessary python packages shall be installed manually).
