Raspberry as ncam server

Hi! Thanks to all the info on the forum, I managed to install ncam on a raspberry pi 3, and I have an old deco (mvision 260) that does not open channels from other countries with cccam lines directly into it. And I wanted to know if it is possible that those lines instead of putting them in the deco, put them in the raspberry, and somehow make server to the deco. It is a problem of the cccam emulator of the deco that has its years and can not be configured to taste, so I would like to try this option.

Thanks in advance, and I apologize if it is already posted, but I have not found anything clear about it, just something about reshare and newcamd but I do not clarify.

Ncam can be used as a server. But if there is no reshare on the CCcam lines, the deco won`t receive any channels.

Yes the lines have reshare. How I need configure ncam? And my deco? I read that my deco will be with newcamd, it is true? Thanks!

Convert the CCcam lines to readers with NCam Converter then add to ncam.server

Make sure all readers are using group = 1

Convert F lines to ncam.user. Convert C and N lines to ncam.server.

In ncam.conf add the newcamd section if that is what protocol is to be used by the Mvision HD260.

In ncam.user create an account for the deco.

group = 1
keepalive = 1

Use this N line on the deco (192.168.1.20 is the ip address of the raspberry pi)

The port, user and pwd values can be changed to your own. If you do so make sure you also edit the N line accordingly.
