Hello, sorry again. can you help me how to install this oscam to my box? im trying to use this tutorial but it seems it doesnt work for me. When i delete the old oscam file and put in the new one in the box there's still loading the old name of the old oscam but i dont see the new one. RE: Private OSCam - Request for compilation, questions and help !!!

First you have to stop the old Oscam, then copy the new bin file (overwrite the old BIN which you should find in /usr/bin/) and start the oscam again.

Thank you very much, seems to be working but how do i know its really the new version? Since i rename the new file same as the old file. Also is there an IPK version of this? A bit easier installation..😅
-
Just look at the WEB management of your Oscam. There you can immediately see what version you have running.

Thank you very much, seems to be working

You actually installed a new version. The old version will be displayed until you rename the old version of the script to the new version in softcam.Oscam in /etc /init.d or it depends where it is in your image. For example, the new version is 11791, but the script still contains the previous version, eg 11764. You just need to change CAMNAME in script to the new version and restart the box.
CAMNAME="OSCam_11784-r801"

Hello
Is it normal that I see Mohamed's Oscam, after installing Samur's Oscam?

Is it normal that I see Mohamed's Oscam
Where, in the softcam manager? If you only replaced Samur`s binary, but havn`t edited the image softcam script then yes.
-
Yes, that's right. I couldn't find the whole script.
I only found the bin file.
Where can I find it?
Thank you
-
Where can I find it?
Depends which image is being used.
