[Samur Private OSCam] - Request for compilation, questions and help !!!

What version of Oscam is listed in its Web management ? I'm asking so we can verify what version you have running.

Hi I've on my Octagon sf8008 Egami 10.6 with Oscam 11854-r802.

I'd like to know why I don't manage to change Oscam bin by samur even I have copied with filezilla Oscam on /usr/bin.

I keep on watch the last bin only on the Egami Panel blu.

First you have to STOP the "old" Oscam that is running and only then change/copy the new (Samur`s) binary and start it again.

Did you uninstall the old oscam and softcam.oscam before? You also have to rename samur oscam as the old one and only then copy it. If necessary, change CAMNAME to softcam.oscam (if it is a different version). The procedure is the same for all images with samur oscam. At least that's how I do it.

1. download the latest Oscam binary von samur  HERE

2. extract it from zip, rename the extracted file to match the one you have in usr/bin

3, either rename the original one in usr/bin for example to OSCam_11860-r802_old

4. use your FileZilla or whatever and send the new binary to usr/bin, give it attributes 755 and restart your STB

Sorry, it took me a while.

I tested it with both 0624 and 0668 cards on a Dreambox Two, Octagon SF8008 and RPI4. It ran OK everywhere for me.
