Could someone confirm that the latest 11700 version from here can be used in the Define OS partition of an Octagon SF8008 4K, as well?

Could someone point me into the direction that will explain to me how to load these type files into my sf8008 or osmio+4k

I know how to load an ipk file or a tar.gz. file, but don't have a clue of how to get these files into my receivers

First of all unzip the file you download from here and rename it to oscam-emu.

You have to know how to use DCC_E2 application before proceeding.

When connected to your receiver using this exe :

click on "Telnet" (low left corner) > type : init 4 and hit : enter

now click on "FTP" (low left corner) then double-click usr>bin

scroll down till you find "oscam-emu" file and delete it.

using ftp method via dcc_e2 exe send the new oscam-emu file in here

and right click on it and select Attributes and 755 and finally click OK.

now click on Telnet (top left corner now) and type reboot and then hit enter.

You are done now. Good luck!

Could you please inform me what is the difference between

"OSCam-11702-798 (armv7ve OpenSSL-1.1.1 libusb).zip"

and

"OSCam-11702-798 (armv7ve OpenSSL-1.1.1).zip"

P.S. I am using the second version on my Octagon SF8008 4K Combo, and all seems working OK.

you need to copy that unzipped file in your machine, using DCC-e2 or other program. you'll also need to make some configuration files with your data.
