    Many thanks ahmed gazye :smiling face with hearts: for sharing images. At this point also big thanks to the Openvision team for the tiny-images for our old, weak box.


    Being a cable user, I absolutely need the *Union TunerType config* plugin. Unfortunately these plugins doesn't work in any recent version of Openvision 7.7. After switching and restarting, *terrestical* still remains. So I can't find any success with the search and also when importing the finished channel list - practically no chance in the cable network.

    Can any of you give me a tip on how to fix this error? I think somewhere in the start file we have to rewrite from terrestrial to cable right?

    If you want to test it now you could use https://github.com/OpenVisionE…onTunerType/src/plugin.py and remove the pyo file in your STB.


    Remember sending us reports via https://github.com/OpenVisionE2/reports/issues/new/choose , this way developers would be notified faster.

    Only today I was able to test your change on my GM One & Triplex in the Vodafone cable network in Germany.
    Both variants - replacing the "plugin.py" file in the old image and also flashing the new image r426 from 30.05 - did not lead to the switchover being successful. After the switch it remains only *terrestrial*


    Please don't stress - all good - I have time to wait for your solution!

    Forget the plugin for now, lets test it with hand. Replace the file /etc/modprobe.d/_spark7162.conf with the ones I attached and do a reboot.


    Let me know if any of them solves the problem.

    both files "_spark7162.conf" don't work, still no signal...

    Just wanted to let you know about this, seems like a driver problem as even without the plugin you can not change it.


    Old releases of OV uses the normal driver and new releases uses the "-fe" driver by Audioniek, I did inform him about this problem and waiting for possible updates.
