How To Flash A VU+ ZERO 4K Linux Enigma2 Receiver

Flashing the Receiver:

1) Power off the receiver

2) Ensure no other USB devices are plugged into the receiver while flashing.

3) Insert the USB stick containing the image files into one of the usb ports on the receiver, rear usb port is advised if possible.

4) Power the receiver on.

5) The WHITE L.E.D VU+ logo to the left front on the receiver will quickly flash two or three times then start to fade in and out slowly.

6) Once completed the WHITE L.E.D will flash rapidly.

The official image is no longer supported and nobody uses it.

I suggest you use the image linked below.

Everything you need can be downloaded from the image feed. What isn`t on the feed will be found on AJPanel and DreamSatPanel plugins.

No. Leave the folder structure as it is or the image flashing process won`t initialize.

The structure should be vuplus folder ~ zero4k folder ~ then the image files inside.

Yes, it wipes everything.

Its called multiboot. You can download the openmultiboot plugin from the image feeds.

Resets the image you just flashed. Doesn`t go back to the factory firmware.

Not sure where the option is in the menu, or if it even has that feature. It has limited functionality which is why nobody uses it. You won`t want to ever use it again once you try the other third party options.
