Updating OpenATV image on OCTAGON SF4008 from 6.2 to 7.1

Hi all,

Can anyone help or direct me to instruction on how to update the OpenATV image from 6.2 to 7.1 as it seems it cannot be easily done online. I have the image on a USB stick. Thanks

How to flash Octagon SF4008 receiver by USB.

Thanks the receiver is by passing the flash files on USB, any suggestions?

The basics are:

Using a different USB stick, and/or trying a USB format tool on the USB stick.

Hi its now booting it was the file structure on the USB I copied files directly instead of the folder...doh!
