I have a friends V7 pro here and boot just flashes on and off on box. There is no output on the hdmi. I re-flashed firmware with the refresh tool with rs232 serial but no change. I connected to the rs232 on the board but just get MCPU: version:btinit VER 0.0.5_sym: ddr every few seconds. Anybody have anything similar happen?
The first replacement charger I tried must have been dodgy as well, I have too many 12v chargers lol. I tried mars software but picture seemed to break up a bit. I needed rs232 connected with refresh tool to load uboot and reflash regular software which works fine. Thinking about getting a v8 UHD now for myself to see if can get more stable Skye channels compared to my sf8008.
