can you telnet to receiver?

In image settings go to Menu - Setup - Network - Password.
In New password, enter the same password you use to connect
with FTP. Enter dreambox as the new pwd, and then the green button.
For telnet, login is root, and pwd is dreambox and then press Enter.

Why don't you write what exactly is not working and why you can't install it. I installed the image on a usb stick and run it in multiboot. The installation itself and uploading or booting the image takes a little longer. The receiver model is the same as yours.
