Openatv 7.5 does not install it.

In version 7.3 I had no problem.

Problem solved, all good, I just hadn't noticed that it wasn't installed properly from the beginning.
I uninstalled the error and reinstalled it and it's fine.

habe es hinbekommen, dass 7.3. von usb bootet. Sehr schön, die alten Boxen nochmal zu aktivieren. Kann leider kein Passwort setzen: Kommt immer Fehler 145: kennwort kann nicht geändert werden (Connection timed out) Brauche den FTP Zugang zur Box. Hat jemand eine Idee? VG

How to change password using Telnet with FTP prog DCC oder Filezilla.

open FTP Prog

enter your correct IP, or click on the magnifying glass

then on search, double click on the correct IP address and 2x ok, ready.

Now klick on Telnet:

user name: root (press enter)

write: passwd (press enter)

write the password you want (press enter) the entered password is not visible

write your new password again (press enter) the entered password is not visible

It should look something like this. It depends on what software and box you are using.

Funktioniert leider nicht bei mir :(, nach Eingabe von user name:root kommt immer die Password Abfrage. Immer server has closed and login incorrect... Mit DCC, Filezilla und Totalcommander versucht....

I have a dm800se with version 7.3 installed. I would like to install ver 7.4 or 7.5.1 but I don't know how. I downloaded both versions in flash.zip format and there are rootfs.tar .bz, imageversion and kernel.bin. What should I do next?. Can I install one of these two newer versions with the telnet command I used to install v 7.3 on usb with old image in the flash or is telnet command only for version 7.3.

Also is not possible to make a backup. Thank you.
