Hello mr piterfree.
I tried both DM 800SE_OpenPli-12.2_ssl 84D_AU_piterfree and DM 800SE_OpenPli-12.2_ssl 84_AU_piterfree on a dm800se sim 2.10 decoder.
They both sims to load and work ok, but as soon i download and install a packet from the repository it updates some files and the sat tuner is not working any more.
Tuner is present and looks ok, but if you select a channel you get an error of not compatible tuner configuration and the channel list became grey ghost.
If you do a satellite scan it does not start the scanning and it finish immidiately with o channel found.
do you have a fix for it ?

you have to turn it off and resend..2* ssl 84D to bring the Tuner back to life, if you do it that way it means that the plugins you install are not dedicated to that software...you are adding an incompatible driver...or Python, the soft is now dedicated only for TvSat and not for anything else.
if I remember correctly there is the vhannibal setting1.4 plugin... the only one that works well and the new plugin 1.5 wouldn't work if you install it and then the memory is small you can't make it become a Ferrari.

I tried on A8p box and everything seams to be ok.
For the clone, I have to say that not everything of your replay is clear to me but that depends on my little knoladge.
Please let me know if I understood correctly:
1) "you have to turn it off and resend..2* ssl 84D" You are that when I install additional plugin to your image some or them might have reinstalled the second stage for the original box and, as a consequence, the channal list daes not look ok with the tuner. So what I have to do to fix it is to reinstall the sin2 secondstage to have the issue fixed (so I need a "secondstage _sim2_84d.ipk" or how can I do that with the bin or nfi version or ? )
obviously the box starts ok and i do not get error "no CA found" because Flash image is not effevted since everyyhing running is on the usb pen.
Correct ?
2) the Vhannibal 1.4 can fix my issue without reinstolling the sim2 secondstage ?

Hi mr piterfree.,
after additional test I find out that the issue descrived in post #2 is present only when I attach an usb dvbt pen. I have three of them from different brands but they all behave the same way.
When I attach the usb dvbt and boot the system I got the internal sat tuner issue. Instead the USB DVBT tuner is working ok. Obliusly bootting the DM without the dvbt pen attached brings the internal sat tuner back to live.
I tried the same thing on OpenAtv 6.4 and I have no issue with this image.

it's a clone and its feeds are not good it's just that way if you download something else I know very well that the tuner will disappear
because it would be a software for the original decoder and I made it work for Clone... nothing should be downloaded from the feeds. -
Ich habe nur die Soft für die TvSat-Karte angepasst... mit dem Oscam-Einlesen und -Update.

In primis grazie per il grande lavoro che svolge. Ho installato questa immagine sul mio Sunray sim 2.10 e la trovo ottima e scorrevole. La oscam funziona bene con la scheda Tv sat, Ho provato anche ad aggiungere un nuovo reader ma non viene rilevato e quindi non funziona è normale?. Ho installato il trial tuner e funziona.
Quello che secondo me potrebbe essere utile, sempre se la cosa è fattibile, aggiungere sia la possibilità di gestire un hard disk in modo da poter installare lo swap e gestire il mount, sia di avere la possibilità di espandere la ram su hard disk del tipo expand-memory. Ho provato con il plugin flashexpander ma a me non ha risolto il problema.

ok...ti do' una info,
io quel soft lo fatto su hdd salvato e fatto backup...(come lo avrei fatto...???,
ho installato in quel soft (mountmanager) serve proprio per montare a tuo piacere sia hdd che una eventuale USB o SSD,
poi per il Reader controlla che ci sia spazio sufficiente...perché e' un decoder che non e' di nuova generazione e lo spazio a molto a che fare per plugin. (si pensa che questo decoder possa fare tutto) non e' cosi' bisogna rassegnarsi.

La possibilità di avere un plugin funzionate tipo quello che viene usato sulla Open atv si chiama (expand-memory) e funziona benissimo una volta avviato parte delle operazioni le sposta su hard disk o usb. In teoria flash exspander dovrebbe funzionare allo stesso modo idi Expand Memory ma non funziona.
Ho provato ad installare manualmente le varie cartelle i expand memory su questo software ma va in blocco.

dimenticavo...per l'ultima tuo suggerimento flesxpander va installato all'inizio del soft prima di iniziare a metter un qualsiasi plugin quando appena installato e se fai il backup...alla fine della messa in opera dei plugin driver ed emu...il backup lo fai solo per ripristinare il tuo soft momentaneo ma non sarà possibile utilizzarlo per altri decoder o possibilita' di divulgarlo ad altri,
il plugin (Fleschxpander) questo ti dà la possibilità di installare tutti i plugin e Reader Cam emu tutto ciò che vuoi,
usa e racchiude le cartelle del soft tutto quelle di (usr) in hdd o USB che ai installato e tutto cio' che e' in usr non sara' utilizzato come backup,
praticamente viene fatto solo sul tuo dispositivo e non potrai piu' staccare hdd o USB se no se lo stacchi causi l'inutilizzo del tuo box...percio' io faccio il backup con il MontManager che ognuno possa farlo per conto suo.

va fatto all'inizio come installi il soft,
con ATV non lo mai fatto
ma con OpenPli lo fatto e funziona benissimo ma devi avere almeno 3..4 mb liberi per la memoria iniziale,
se tu ai gia' dei plugin e ai solo 1..o 2 mb non penso che possa partire il programma di espansione.

Espongo come ho provato ad usare flash expander.
1 installato la tua immagine;
2 scaricato dai plugin Flashexpander ed installato;
3 lanciato flashexpander, il software mi ha chiesto dove installare su hard disk e prima di procedere ha chiesto che per procedere dovevo inizializzare l'hard disk, cosa che ho fatto con successo. Ad inizializzazione fatto ho rilanciato Flashexpander che ha eseguito tutta la procedura (ha lavorato per meno di 50 secondi ) e mi ha chiesto di fare il riavvio. Ad avvio effettuato vado a verificare il contenuto dell'hard disk , non ci sono file al di fuori della cartella vuota Picon.
sa hai altri consigli son ben accetti.

adesso prova ad installare plugin e Cam...non dovrebbe darti problemi di spazio dovresti installare i Reader che vuoi se tutto e' andato bene,
se non erro se entri con DCC nel soft troverai delle cartelle diverse da come era strutturato in precedenza...se no significa che non funziona correttamente perché ora il disco e' trasformato in Linux e fa' parte del soft del decoder praticamente condiviso e il PC Windows da remoto non puoi piu' vederlo, io i test li faccio con win_7.

io non lo faccio da tempo
perché uso un disco da 20 GB delle vecchie console e ho su molti backup e potrei perderli anche se li ho salvati su altri dischi.

ti avviso che se estrai il disco e vuoi copiare il contenuto non potrai farlo perché e' solo in lettura per Linux ricordatelo.

scusami ma non ho capito cosa e come devo farlo . Ho reinstallato la oscam che era presente nei plugin ma non va più nemmeno la scheda Tv Sat.
Devo fare i reflash con la nuova immagine?
Non so dove trovare l'ipk del plugin delle cam.
