No not like that.... there is actually several ways it can be done, but the keys should correlate to the service id so the right key is used for each channel

    See here for details:

  • The video values are different, I couldn't figure out how to enter them.

This is what i do for e2, the key is like this for normal biss channels:

    Code
    F 182B074F 00000000 1122336633221166 ;XSport (4.8E) 11766 H 30000

These are the service details - pid

As you can see from the key above

    Code
    182B074F

    is: SID 182B
    and VIDEO PID: 074F

    22222222222222.jpg

    Another feed on 7 east............

    Eutelsat 7A/7B/7C @ 7.0E

    11507 Vertical 6667,836

ID: EPCR RACING INTER DIRTY UK (ADVALEM)

    1920x1080 |14,861Mb/Sec |4:2:0 HD

Event: EUROPA: EUROPEAN RUGBY CHAMPIONS CUP - JORNADA 4

    Racing 92 VS Cardiff Rugby

    #CW: CC AA 65 DB E4 BB CE 6D

Now you will see with feeds, that this info is normally the same for most feeds, SID and Vpid are mostly the same.... !!

Luckily for e2 we have a plugin that then calculates it in another way using srvid, tsid, onid and namespace and then convert's it to hash

This is the code from our e2 plugin (it may help to make more sense)

As you can see it also could calculate just with srvid and namespace

and ultimately this is the key for that feed that i have in my softcam.key

    Code
    F DD59EA83 00 CCAA65DBE4BBCE6D ; Added on 2024-01-20 16:02:59.152511 for EPCR RACING INTER DIRTY UK at 7.0E

I hope that helps, unfortunately i do not use a PC for my TV.....

  • Thank you very much.

It worked like this. If I use the 2.biss key like this, will it work?

    Thank you very much ;

It worked like this. If I use the 2.biss key like this, will it work?

Sadly I doubt it :face with head bandage:

Unfortunately most FEEDS seem to use the same vpid and sid - (these are not meant for us at home - they should just be for rebroadcasting lol )

So when you have 2 feeds with the same vpid and sid you may have an issue as to what key will be chosen (in most cases the softcam.key file is read from the bottom up)

You may have to look further at using srvid and namespace.....

Try and let us know how you get on :thumbs up:

I was reading the oscam wiki myself, there is actually an even easier way of doing this.....oscam emu tell you exactly what to use!!

OSCam-Emu informs the user about all possible key formats for a given channel. See below:

Lines 1-2 correspond to the namespace hash. An example key (with orbital position, frequency and service id information) is printed to copy and paste in your SoftCam.Key file.

Lines 3-4 correspond to the universal hash. An example key (with audio/video pid count, pmt pid and service id information) is printed to copy and paste in your SoftCam.Key file.

Lines 5-8 correspond to the old key matching methods based on the channel pids. Notice that the pid search is done in reverse order (which usually is audio pids first, then video pid, then pmt pid) to better identify channels where they share identical video pid but have variable counts of audio pids.

Line 9 correspond to the service id and ecm pid combination search.

Line 10 correspond to the default "All Feeds" key.

    TESTING MYSELF:

    I went to this feed

    Code
    Portugal, Liga Portugal 2
CD Tondela vs. FC Porto B
    Eutelsat 7B-7C @ 07.0E
    11571 Vertical 7200,032
    ID: E-356 (Mediapro)
    1920x1080 |16,049Mb/Sec |4:2:0
    2D 34 FC 4A 02 27 BB 03 #CW:BC 20 24 00 01 21 CB ED

Then i checked the oscam log:

    Code
    2024/01/21 10:52:28 20CA7830 c (dvbapi) Demuxer 0 trying to descramble PID 0 CAID 2600 PROVID 000000 ECMPID 1FFF ANY CHID PMTPID 0800 VPID 0200

    2024/01/21 10:52:28 4EBC87D6 r (emu) Key found: F 00011020 00000000

    Note the:

    Code
     (emu) Key found: F 00011020 00000000

Is not true, nothing is decoding, that is just a universal key......

What is interesting is this line:

    Code
    2024/01/21 10:52:28 4EBC87D6 r (emu) Key not found: F 282129E4

    Here is the working key

    Code
    F 282129E4 00 BC2024000121CBED ; TEST FEED for E-356 at 7.0E

Which is exactly the same as what i get if i use our e2 key adder plugin...... so you see this is actually very simple even for you PC users....
