Compile your own oscam with simple build - windows 10 / 11 and ubuntu app

In our country, we depend a lot on oscam emu, I know that there have not been big changes and even less now after what we all know...it is sad the truth, one keeps the hope that they return all that great work that the great and best developers do without receiving anything in return.

For the moment I have solved it. OSCam 2.24.11-11847-802

first I started from scratch, created a directory and recompiled s3,

edit and generate the file patch.url

this generates a file in the patch directory oscam-emu.patch the one that is generated is not the right one, so I replaced it with the last known one

then follow these instructions:

If the SOURCE statement is omitted, the normal URL is used. It is also possible to automatically load patches via ./s3 get_patch and apply them via ./s3 repopatch . The file support/patches/patch.url.template is helpful for this.

the following is the content of my file patch.url

can enybody tell me how to enable emu???

i have tried all commands but no result

with the latest release i tried ./s3 enable_emuautomatically and ./s3 enable_emu

and even with 2024.04.336 that should be with emu patch support but no luck

if i understand correctly

the new releases use a repository switch to a patched one with ./s3 enable_emuautomatically

please help

it seems that is patched but i cant see emu in readers

till now i have done this

even it says that is patched in oscam version i do not have "emu yes " in readers does not show my emu reader (the config exists in oscam.server and if i use ./s3 menu for building oscam it does not show emu in windows titles , please give me some more help .

and after a restart of the server and a cache clear of the browser everything is ok .

Oscam restart script

I moved from older post location.
I want to check if my ubuntu server has a check in place to restart oscam every 5 mins or so should things go wrong. The shell script is present in the var/script location ok, however I am confused as I don't have a single crontab file. I have hourly, daily, weekly and monthly crontab folders in etc/. In the hourly folder there is an empty file called .placeholder. Do I need to rename this and insert */5 * * * * root /var/script/OscamCheck.sh

As you can see this is where you should place the latest file named oscam-emu.patch then apply these commands:

the first command may not be relevant but I have come to need it for egami images.
