With today's OpenATV-7.4 update (20240703) the Multiboot issue is resolved.
Multiboot Manager works normally.
You can also install an image in another slot via OpenATV.

Just updated and yes, the multiboot bug has been fixed but not the image install or restore to me, it still gives the same error as before and plus I have other two bugs with plugins missing or not functional but this would go off topic.
I just successfully restored a backup to slot-50.

hello,
Octagon Sf8008 Supreme : How I can use the NVMe SSD M.2 device for multiboot locations ?
After trying the Octagone sf8008 Supreme
The stable E2 images that support multibooting from an SDD - NVMe hard drive :
OpenATV 7.4-sf8008, define-7.0, OpenBH 5.4, Openpli-9.0-release, openpli-develop-sf8008, Openvix-6.6, NonSoloSat 33, Hyperion X, OpenTR 11
But for the other E2 images, they crash and stop after booting, after 100% is displayed on the receiver screen :
OpenEight 6.8, PurE2 7.4, OpenHDF 7.3, OpenDroid 7.3, OpenSPA 8.3, Egami-10.5
Can someone contact info@octagon-germany.de
and suggests to modify OpenEight 6.8 to support multibooting from an SDD - NVMe hard drive.
Thanks
For "Octagon sf8008 supreme"
Here is a relevant script for creating 50 slots on the NVMe hard drive (sdd)
First format your NVMe drive with Multiboot FlashOnline V.7.1
then, execute script to partitionate your NVMe hard drive.
