  • Thanks for the reply It is a ( GT 4K combo box ) Like I said in the previous post

I am looking for information on how to excess the key file input section of this receiver

to input some new key files. I think I 've gone over every section of this receiver with no

luck. I've even tried the GT forum site with no replies.

So I'm looking for help if this is possible on this receiver or not.

    Thanks JG

    you have several options

    1) go to http://COMBO_IP:8081/files.html?file=SoftCam.Key if you want to add / edit softcam keys in the proper format

    2) go to http://COMBO_IP:8081/files.html?file=autobiss.Key if you want to add / edit biss keys

    the format is

    Code
    F 0000 00 F642F52D7FEED13E;0160:12735:0001

    explained

    Code
    F 0000 00 BISSKEY;SAT:FREQ:SID

    3) in your decoder go to MENU -> INSTALLATION -> type 666 -> CS PROTOCOL -> Softcam Setting

  • Thanks for the quick reply

I tried the first two sites but come to a dead end they won't connect to the server?

The third option is the one I wanted to really try but when get to the part after

entering Installation I can't find any place to type in the 666 ?

    (3) in your decoder go to MENU -> INSTALLATION -> type 666

    Anymore suggestions

    Thanks Jg

  • type 666 with the remote

  • Thanks for the replies I found that it needs four 6's entered not 3 as in my above post .

Once that took hold it opened up another menu icon called CS PROTOCOL.

In there are 5 sub menus called

    Server Setting

    Soft cam Setting

    Oscam Configuration

    Oscam Monitor

    Restore Oscam Configuration

In the soft cam setting are the keys

Mine opens up with Powervu keys

I'm looking for the active Biss keys that I am watching

but I see none of them. You can access key changes with the Red add button

or Green edit button but I don't see any of the active Biss Keys.

This is what I see even when I download the key data

files from the receiver and open it with a text editor.

Just Power Vu data no biss key data?

It is also the same view read directly from the box onto the display.

It shows the Power Vu files but no Biss files when I am watching

NBC on 105 West which is a Biss key format still looking for help

as I want to export the Biss key to another receiver I have.

    Thanks Again Jg

  • Hello

Thanks for the reply again I'm not sure or don't know how the browser works

all I can do is enter the

    CS PROTOCOL.

In there are 5 sub menus called

    Server Setting

    Soft cam Setting

    Oscam Configuration

    Oscam Monitor

    Restore Oscam Configuration

I can enter the 5 different sub menus if this is the browser I don't know.

I understand how the softcam setting works and how

to export and import the files.

If there is some other place I should be I don't know how to get there or

were I should be looking to get there this is were I need help .

    Thanks again for your patience

  • Thanks again for the reply

Which one of the IP format are we looking for.

    1. Types of IP Addresses:
      • Public IP Address (External-facing): Assigned to the main device (usually a router) connecting your home or business network to the internet. All devices within your network communicate using this public IP address.
      • Private IP Address (Internal-facing): Assigned by your local network (intranet) to devices within your home or office. The router manages private IP addresses and maps them to public IP addresses for external communication.

This is the IP address I got out of the setup in the gt box 192.168.100.154

    Thanks JG

  • Hello

I want to thank this group for it's support especially (( Rush1 and Master G )) in getting me logged into Oscam.

It's been driving me crazy for a week. I been doing the right things with their help but not getting any were .

Not because of them but my own stupid mistake of not having the receiver set box turned on at the same

time I was trying to access the Oscam Program.

It appears you have to have both on at the same time to log into the program so for all reading this don't

make my mistake it will save you a lot of wasted computer time . :head banger:

Thank you again for your help. :beer1:
