hdmi to usb adaptor

  • Er... All laptops have some sort of usb ports, dont they??? Whether usb 3.0, usb 2.0 or more commonly usb c.

    Unless your usb ports are broken.

    And if you are just wanting to transfer data/media. Use can network share if on same wifi.
    Or FTP files across if you have another pc/laptop.

    But to answer your question. Its not really possible to use a hdmi port as usb port on a laptop. Hdmi port is for video and audio, not data.
    You can do the opposite though, you can use a usb port as a hdmi port with an adapter.

  • its a dell about 3 years old on windows 11,i was using a portable hard drive,when i unplugged it, it broke pins on the port ,i didnt notice so when i pluggrd it in on a different port it broke that one also,
