  • I am using NordVPN and I am 99% of the way there.

I have my access token. The private key was generated. The server list is shown.

But when I attempt to connect to any server it does say 'Connection established' but am still on my IP. When I attempt to connect multiple times the box appears to do a gui reboot. No crash logs are generated. I do not have OpenVPN installed.

I'm running OpenATV 7.5.1, python 3.12.9. I'll keep trying and if I solve it I will get back to you.

  • On which receiver?

    Telnet:

    /etc/init.d/wireguard stop

    /etc/init.d/wireguard start

After sending the start command, paste the output you receive.

  • I'll start by saying I fixed it thanks to your telnet command.

It is an Edision OS mio 4k plus. This was the telnet:

When I noticed the error I went into settings and set 'Disable ipv6' to No and retried to connect. It worked.

  • hi

tried to install on openatv 7.6 which i have dreambox one but i get this message is there other way to install this ?

    thanks

    Hello,

Look the first post. The supported architecture are written close to the python version (ex: arm).

Your log is pretty clear, unfortunately your architecture (aarch64) isn’t yet supported.

In my opinion you have to look for another VPN manager.

    Greetings

  • I would like to thank the author for this great plugin that I successfully installed on my DM920 OpenPLi Develop GCC-15.1 on which I could not find a way to install a VPN.
I would like to ask if it were possible to have help to understand if it can somehow be integrated into the "Second Infobar" SKIN (which in my case I modified for my personal tastes) or into the LCD DISPLAY Skin in order to have a constant indication of the status of the type of connection and therefore be able to understand if the VPN is active or not without having to enter in the Plugin.

A simple "VPN ON" message or a red or green "led" would be enough.
    I hope I explained myself.
    Thanks and greetings.

Hi, if you don't want to create a converter, in the plugin settings you have the possibility to display a warning on the screen at regular intervals (1-60 minutes).

  • Like this you mean ?

Its very easy, you just have to write a converter which looks for the wg0 file used by Wireguard and then add the appropriate widgets to your skin so it calls upon it.

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately I am not a programmer and everything I do is trial and error following intuition and common sense, combining parts of code that I find already done on various skins.
Maybe if I could have what is necessary for the VPN indication that you added above the title of the film I could try to integrate it into my skin.
    Greetings
