Following a discussion with a Streamlink developer during which he told me that stremlinksrv was poorly coded, contained old and obsolete code etc etc, I've decided to migrate to streamlinkproxy.
I have just one problem with it. The plugin isn't compatible with the auto restore process. A reboot is generated by the plugin and broke the restore process.
Do you think you could remove the reboot and just inform the user at the end of the installation he has to reboot its box?
As a reminder, the auto-restore process install all plugins ipk available in the directory /media/hdd/images/ipk or /media/usb/images/ipk.
Thanks.
Do you think you could remove the reboot
ok
UPDATE
6.7.2
1) Latest streamlink lib from GIT
2) Removed restart box after updating/installing a plugin
update already available!! very fast, thank you
Edit: fully tested, even automatic Backup/Restore process, everything is working fine.
Hello,
I have 4 streams which don't work with streamlinkproxy but work with streamlinksrv. Do you thing something is missing in streamlinkproxy?
The streams:
http://localhost:8088/https://…e.tv/france-2/direct.html
http://localhost:8088/https://…e.tv/france-3/direct.html
http://localhost:8088/https://…e.tv/france-4/direct.html
http://localhost:8088/https://…e.tv/france-5/direct.html
The plugin name is pluzz but no change on the code for this one since 8 months.
I have 4 streams which don't work with streamlinkproxy but work with streamlinksrv.
1) Do you think that fortune tellers and soothsayers gather here? Some of the channels that you provided are geo-blocked under French IPs... How can you check them from outside France?
2) My log for pluzz ... here is one of the channels that I managed to “bypass” so that without geo-blocking... more precisely, I made some changes to pluzz.py so that this channel would not work from my IP

NO LOG - NO PROBLEM!
Hi everyone, Streamlink proxy worked well for me on images based on openpli in python 3, but for 2 days, I have had this instead of the image on all my openpli images and derivatives.....
what version is installed ?
version 6.8.3
I just installed the latest version given and it's still the same, same screen....
but for 2 days, I have had this instead of the image on all my openpli images and derivatives.....
try to start
This will output the full log to the console, where the reason will be visible, as well as the plugin (video service) you are using...
p..s . From your post, it’s not clear at all what link you are slipping into streamlink... Perhaps it’s just “dead” and not working ... Streamlink supports about 50 different video services... it’s not clear how to guess from your post which one you use
[streamlinkproxy][info] Streamlinkproxy server ver 1.0.2 started - 192.168.1.15

[streamlinkproxy][debug] Steamlink library version used: 6.8.3
streamlinkproxy manualstart DEBUG
You clearly don’t understand what it’s doing.. Please look at the last 5-10 posts where examples of running a service in DRBUG are given ... For example - RE: Streamlinkproxy Python3 Only discussion & support
Just run the service in DEBUG and turn on your broadcast on the tuner
I was clear I think in my message, I said that nothing works anymore....it's no big deal, I switched back to puthon 2 and everything works there, not like your crappy python 3.. ...
I was clear I think in my message, I said that nothing works anymore...
Indicate in which of your messages it is possible to understand which of the more than 50 add-ons built in stremlink library does not work? Perhaps you gave an example of the link that you “slip” to streamlink for viewing?
Feel free to answer these two simple questions. Then - think about how and who can help you and what, if your posts are about nothing and do not carry any practical load that somehow allows you to help .... You also didn’t provide a log of what doesn’t work for you...
not like your crappy python 3
If something doesn’t work for you on py3, be kind enough to support your fantasies with specific examples and work logs. There are no fortune tellers here
Thanks for understanding
crappy python 3
You should think about why support for Py2 was stopped more than two years ago by its developers and now all development is done only for Py3 .... probably because py3 is "crappy" ![]()
Especially for you, I made a few screenshots of how various video services supported by the streamlink library works... and yes, this is "crappy" Py3

Nothing works!!!! What to do !!??
Your thing is a big rubbish, after lots of tests, only daily motion works with your shit, whereas before everything worked very well and you have the nerve to ask for a donation for that. ...you know where you can put your request??? in a suppository and good night poor bastard, thief, find a real job instead of trying to hack the systems....
Yes, I forgot too son of a bitch and bastard.....lol...I hope that this time they will delete this fucking account that I have been trying to close for ages without success.. .. ![]()
those, apart from general phrases and sweeping, unsubstantiated accusations, other than your fantasies and complete reluctance or lack of understanding of how it works, do you have anything? Will there be any logs or examples? NO? Good luck using the Py2.7 version
p.s. oh yes, the plugin is absolutely free and does not require any donations. So it’s “bad shoot” here too
Good luck with Python 2.7
after lots of tests,
You will decide in the end, before you write that nothing works anywhere for you... And “suddenly” it turned out that something does work... But God bless you
No one is forcing you to use this plugin
Use what works for you and pour out your unsubstantiated “thoughts” in the appropriate thread of the topic
Thank you for your understanding and “detailed” analysis of the plugin ![]()
