Hello all,
I've been an casual follower of these forums for quite a while, what I've been struggling to understand is why Mars / Forever based receivers open a number of channels without the associated servers being shutdown when nothing has come along for E2 with quite the same public availability? Whenever anything comes along opening UK channels it's all quite cloak and daggers, whereas people talk / sell openly the GTMedia/Viark boxes with an easy? guide to opening those channels.
Appreciate the Mars / Forever are using the IKS protocol, but why is this not compatible with E2? Is it closed source and therefore no-one has yet been able to port over?
And why have the Mars / Forever servers not been shutdown the same as more high profile E2-type card sharing servers seem to, especially when they seem to be so widely used / publically available.
Thanks
Rob
