  • Alan Turing is the new multiboot program by Gutemine, initially written for OE 2.6, now also adapted for OE 2.5. The Barry Allen 14.4 that you installed is nothing more than Alan Turing with the previous BA interface to facilitate those who are familiar with BA and not with AT.

If you still have the images created with BA 12.91, you will never see them with the new BA. You must insert a clean USB, formatted in fat32, and reinstall the images you are interested in with BA 14.4 (or AT). Then you will see on average the AT folder with the various images. I hope I was clear.

Basically Alan Turing takes the place of Barry Allen. At this point of installation Barryallen14.4. and I keep Alan

The USB is mounted as media/at. I have to put the images in media/at. Then from there I do the installation of all the images? Is there a guide?

  • hello.. I am surprised that when I install the images in barry allen 14.4, that is, in the new barry allen, and when I restart the image that I installed with flash again, the image that I backup does not come out.. I installed the openatv image and after I extracted it and gave it a restart for the open atv image, it flashed me again. Where is the error?

Images should be put in /media/hdd/backup. To extract them, after starting the plugin, the yellow "backup" button should be pressed. It opens the path where you can select the image to be extracted. During the draw you will see a white forward bar at the top. When it finishes, exit the plugin and re-enter. The extracted image will be listed. To start it with the right arrow, swipe left to select to start it and confirm.

  • I only installed it once per BA test, then I only removed it and use AT. As I said before, BA only adds an interface similar to the previous BA, but the main plugin is AT. I now only have that and I do everything with AT.

You are not obligated to use Gutemine plugins. I am using them, both on the dm920 and on the DreamTwo, because they offer me conveniences that I would not have otherwise. If I should have unbearable inconveniences, then I will remove them :winking face:

  • Ok I installed AT, I mounted the usb media/usb.

  • /media/hdd/backup.

You just need to insert the FAT32 formatted USB stick, you don't need to mount it. AT will look for it when you install the image.

Check that the name of the OpetATV image you are going to extract contains the indication of the decoder you are using. For example, for a dm920, it must be in the name "-dm920-". I don't know if this could be the cause of your problem. Have a nice day.
