I successfully booted the "define 7.0" image on my Octagon SF8008,
whose serial number (SN) had been lost,
after replacing the "bianbiang" file in the path: usr/bin.
Method:
After installing the new Define update,
Connect to the Octagon SF8008 via Telnet with DCC or WinSCP.
IP address of your receiver: 192.168.0.163
User: root
Password: root
Replace the bianbiang file, with the attached file.
and enable the chmod_0755 permission.

No sé, esta imagen no funciona en dispositivos sin número de serie.
Al apagar el decodificador, se reinicia a cero. Espero que lo arreglen o publiquen una imagen actualizada para nuestros dispositivos afectados por la pérdida del número de serie.
