  • Hello all!

    I have Ab PULSe 4k (DVB-S2X and DVB-T/C tuners) with OpenATV 7.4 and OSCam 2.24.10-11845-802. I also have my mediacard for cable tv with CI+ module. With CI+ Helper I can watch cable tv cannels using my CI+ module, but in Oscam log I see that also Oscam wants to find the matching reader. I looked arounf the internet, and I found that ignoring corresponding CAID's in dvpapi file is not the solution. Is there any solution to setup Oscam (or OpenaTV itself) to ignore triing to open channels opened by CI+ module?

  • I think you need to create a list of SRVID channels in oscam that are to run only from CI+ and exclude this list from the oscam reader.

    for me C+1884:

    oscam.services

    Code
    [ci]
    disablecrccws_only_for_exception= 1
    no_wait_time                  = 0
    lg_only_exception             = 0
    caid                          = 1884,1861,0B01,0500,1813,0100,186C,1870,06ED
    provid                        =
    srvid                         = 116F,32DC,13ED,3779,377B,3782,3A99,13EF,070F,3AB9,3AA1,3AA0,13EE,32DE,290E,13F4,13F9,113D,32FC,32CD,32E1,32E2,3315,3AA3,37C1

    and oscam.server

    for each reader you must enter services = !ci

    "!" means to exclude from oscam

    "ci" its name of my list

    Now for me these channels only run with CI+

  • Turn on the channel that is supposed to work with CI+ and in oscam webif you can see what serviceID this channel has. For example 0010:1884@000000 where 0010 is serviceID. You have to add this value to oscam.services in the serid position. and preferably all possible caid values (like mine). after restarting this channel will no longer be read from oscam if you have added an exclusion to the reader.

    unfortunately you have to repeat this for each channel you have on your card in CI+

  • I read this on ither forum as a reply for one who ignored CAID in dvapi file but oscam log gives him an information about trying to open the channel:

    Code
    That doesn’t means that CAID is tried every 4 seconds. It means something entirely different. Oscam is checking if there is any reader with matching CAID, you can activate reader during channel watching or dose the pmt hase changed. It will always do that. In this case when you ignored specific one specific CAID and don't have readers for other you will get that messege. Even when you ignore all CAID you also will have that messege. Oscam constantly looking for matching reader or pmt change, dosen’t mean it Is trying to decode if there is no reader to do that.

    Try commoninterface channel assignments instead.
  • Really thank you, I was struggling with that! Works like a charm
