so is there a way you can add an option to copy epg for a selection of channels?

No. There is no way to guess which channel from xtream match which in stalker.

As i said you can do that manually by creating substitution file and specify external epg url..

But that cant be automatic...

Well not easy thing so far... you have to know the internal epg-ids from both providers...

then in /etc/enigma2/M3UIPTV/<sheme of stalker provider>/ create substitutions.xml with content

Thx DimitarCC, I appreciate the effort, I know it`s daunting to say the least ; having to chase ids for every single channel.

anyways, if anybody has another trick for dealing with epgs, let me know, I know AJPanel has a builtin function based on xml but again that where I`m a little bit fuzzy about.

Stalker is stupid middleware... it was made mainly for MAG boxes of infomir so it have its quirks.

Most of the portals over there doesn't have (or have very little) EPG. So is not worth the efforts.

I suggest ditch the stalker and stay with xtream. is better imho...

I updated to OpenATV 7.6. I did a clean install from scratch. I'm having a problem: ATV 7.5.1 downloaded all the picons, while ATV 7.6 only downloads the first few picons (about 400). What's the problem and how can I fix it?

Hi...I am not sure what is the reason for this...

You have to provide a log during downloading process...

I dont know however how to do this on OpenATV.

But without log i cant say anything.

No its not. You have to enable logs and then reproduce the issue and send me the log file.

The procedure is different on every distro...

I have just upgraded my Octagon sx88 to the latest openvix r6.8 and i have been using e2m3u2bouquet to access my IPTV however in this release it is no longer available. I have been directed to use M3UIPTV but having followed direction of DimitarCC M3UIPTV plugin for IPTV managment and loaded the plugin as a system plugin.

Nobody can say if you not specify what type of IPTV you set up? What url you enter? What is the IPTV provider? Or is a custom m3u?

Maybe provide logs?

Hello,

If you can you should use the image feed for downloading the plugin.

If you absolutely have to install it manually then you MUST first create the M3UIPTV folder in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins.

Then take ONLY the files from src folder and put them in previously created M3UIPTV folder.
